We visited Mountain Valley in order to ALSO visit Bitsy and family. We had a delightful timeenjoying their hospitality, visiting the shops and nurseries in the area and even checking out the local state park/reservoir.
This is a great little park and a wonderful take-off point for visiting Arches National Park.We lucked out and got a site on the end of the line. Shaded by a Tree. CLear view of the hills across the valley.

A bit windy but super convenient to Page. Great BBQ place in Page. Also a good take off pointfor the (South Rim?) of the Grand Canyon. Very close to the Glen Canyon dam and depressingly close to 1/4 full Lake Powell.Might have a drone shot...
This time we were not hustling throughwith one of us sick with (what we hoped was) a cold. Met friends, ate well. Had site 83. Highly reommended. Ask well in advance and enjoy one of the best sites in one of the best towns. We can also recommend the balloon trip over Sedona. Great shopping; guard your wallet.
Watch out for the goose poop.
Nice people. Tough and tight tilted site. Very long ride up to and down from Virginia City. We had a sick dog and no time.
